Picture of Baby
I tried to scan in some ultra sound photos, but the scanned images came out really crappy. So I used my technical savy to take a picture of the picture and post it here. Granted there is a glare and it is obviously a picture of a picture, but as a great mind once said "whatevs."
Enjoy - she is 26 weeks in this picture.
Grandma (my mom) on the loose!
So I like to shop. I think I learned this from my mother, who also likes to shop. Now she has a new target for her purchases - this baby. So this baby has a closet (and dresser) full of clothes, socks, hats, toys, and various baby items - some necessary, some not so much. My mom has let loose - the baby stores and sales did not have a chance.
Let's hope that the baby maintains the family legacy of liking to spend her days shopping. This may be harder for her as she will not be raised in New Jersey, land of malls, where I spent my youth and honed my skills for convincing myself I needed 4+ new pairs of shoes at once, knowing when to hit the food court to avoid crowds, and how to get a parking spot during the holiday season (hint, having a smokin' hot car like a 1993 aqua ford probe helps). Ahhh....Garden State Plaza....good times.

Last pants standing
Here I am at 32 weeks and 5 days. I am running out of suitable pants. These are not the actual last pants standing, but they are one of two pairs that are work suitable. It seems that the powers that be only make non-jean, non-yoga style maternity pants in black and khaki. Two places where khaki will always be "in" are (1) maternity clothing stores and (2) Virginia (worn with the appropriate ribbon belt and frat boy half tuck of the shirt). For me, next stop, mumu.
Oh and don't worry folks, the rubber mallet on the dresser has been removed from the baby's room. Rubber mallets aren't good for babies at least according to everything I've read.
